Riddle me this

Firstly, ᏩᏙ - Thank you for visiting Rose Cottage, and reading my adventures!

I have a wee favor to ask of you! Now that you are here, what would you like to know? Have any of my recent posts that stirred your curiosity?

Door into mystery

Is there a question you would like answered? Perhaps you're curious about our move to Rose Cottage, or setting space.

Or - do you have an old story that keeps replaying? Would you like a process to help shift or even alchemize it? You're invited to ask me something, or share a  trouble.

Tomorrow, I will select a few of your questions and offer my answer!

So, leave a comment below and ask me a question!

Thanks 🌱

  1. Nadya, I only met you this month and am generally curious about your life's journey. Were you always in touch with spiritual energies?

      Ooo, good inquiry!
Yes, I think I have been - and was so blessed to grow up with parents that was important to - and were very ecumenical!
Mama Lois would say we are descended from, 'preachers, teachers and farmers' Her mama Mary grew up in E Washington, and stayed with a Klikatat family one summer. Mary spoke some Klikatat and also the Chinook wawa. When my mom was growing up, some of the Indigenous folks camped on her folks' claim, and her mama let her play with the kids, telling her, 'you don't need to tell them about Jesus - they have a perfectly good religion!'
I sang in choir with my dad and they loved nature, so we camped a lot. His grandfather had been ordained, and performed the marriages of my grandpa and his siblings.
My mama was interested in world history and religions - and while we belonged to a Christian church and were very involved, they weren't attached to 'one path!' After my dad retired, they went to the nearby Warm springs reservation to learn more about their traditional lifeways.
Over the years I've experienced and appreciate a wide range of spiritual experiences.
Several years ago, an interim pastor and his wife were the speakers for our women's retreat. I was beaming (and could relate!) when Rod bespoke a past life reading, and being told, 'this is a karmic lifetime!' She told him he'd been a spiritual leader in many different lives - each time feeling that was the ONLY Right religion! ... His wife Bev had grown up like me, with a very ecumenical, 'walk your talk' family, and her mission in this life was to help him see there are many paths, and it's time to work together!
      ❤️ 💙 💜

  3. I am so intrigued by all your spiritual energy, your crafts and mostly your learning Tsalagi. Your posts about the Native Americans bring me so much joy and memories of Rich because he too was so interested in them and was learning Tsalagi. I'm wondering how did you get interested in this and was it hard at the beginning?

    1. Thank you, Martha!
I'll post more about this journey!
There are several threads - my Grandma Mary (maternal) grew up pasting with Klikatat kids, and I hand her little Chinook wawa dictionary. I could have gone out to Grand Ronde and taken classes in this trade language starting about 25 years ago ...
My dad's heritage includes Cherokee from my other ᎡᎵᏏ (e-li-si - grandma) Minnie - and i remember years of joy and loss, when I discovered a book with some words in Syllabary while my dad was still alive, in the late 1980s! I don't remember asking him if he'd heard any - while my mom loved telling stories about her childhood, and researching genealogy, my dad was pretty much 'here and now!'
Great topic to share more on - thank you for asking!
